Rapid Urine Fentanyl (FYL) Test Strip is over-the-counter diagnostic tool designed for the qualitative detection of Fentanyl in human urine. This test is calibrated to identify Fentanyl at a cut-off concentration of 1 ng/mL.

Instructions for Use:

Test Preparation: Ensure the test strip is at room temperature (59-86ºF or 15-30ºC). Remove the test strip from the sealed pouch.

Urine Sample Collection: Collect a urine sample in a clean, dry container at any time of day. For optimal results, test immediately or refrigerate (2-8ºC) for up to 48 hours, or freeze for extended storage. Allow the sample to reach room temperature before testing.

Conducting the Test: Immerse the strip into the urine sample with the arrow pointing downward for 10 seconds. Ensure the urine level does not exceed the MAX marker.

Result Interpretation:

After 5 minutes, interpret the results as follows:

Preliminary Positive (+): A rose-pink band appears only in the control region.

Negative (-): Rose-pink bands appear in both the control and test regions.

Invalid: No band appears in the control region or a band appears only in the test region. This indicates the test has not performed correctly; please retest with a new strip.

Potential for False Results: Various factors, including contamination, food, medications, or supplements, may affect test accuracy.

Storage Instructions: Store test strips in their sealed pouches at 39-86ºF (4-30ºC). Avoid freezing, direct sunlight, and moisture.

Fentanyl Drug Test Instructions

• Remove the fentanyl drug test from its sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible. For best results, perform the assay within an hour.
• After that, hold the strip by the end, where you can see the product name. So, to avoid contamination, do not touch the strip membrane.
• Then, holding the strip vertically, dip the test strip in the urine specimen for at least 10-15 seconds. Do not immerse above the maximum line (MAX) on the test strip. That’s about 1/5th of the way up the strip.

• After the fentanyl drug test has finished, then remove the strip from the specimen and place it on a non-absorbent flat surface. Start the timer and wait for the colored band(s) to appear. Finally, read the result at 5 minutes. Do not interpret it after 10 minutes.
