Drug Test Results
The 8 Panel Drug Test will screen for many common drugs of abuse and even particular prescription drugs. However, with multi – panel drug testing, it is important to consider the drug detection times. With many of the drugs detected on the 8 panel drug screen test, the drug detection window varies. For instance, the detection time for Benzodiazepines is around 1-2 days. Hypothetically, if an individual tests negative for this drug, it doesn’t necessarily disclude the possibility of drug use.
However, the test evaluator can likely make the determination that the individual has not consumed this particular drug within 1-2 days before the drug test was initiated. However, the detection time for Marijuana THC is longer; up to 30 days after last use. If the test taker has used any drug containing THC, it will be detectable within urine for this length of time.
